Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Meloni discovered his passion for acting from his days in the college classroom and then studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television are gaining him lots of recognition. This is not surprising since the actor has managed to grab audiences' attention by playing characters who are on either side of the law. On his debut TV show, he played the part of a murderer. Then, he went on to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances. Eyes that are piercing blue on his face have been deemed to be the most appealing aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed to depict rough characters and give them charisma. The year 2006 was the last time he was included in People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
