Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous as a character on the well-known TV series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. While in college Christopher Meloni has always been interested in the acting world. He pursued a degree in acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active on TV and film, his roles on small screens were what earned him fame. The ability of his characters to appear in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of audiences. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. Then, he played the character of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his face are considered to be the most appealing aspect of his appearance. They have been utilized to depict rough characters and make them more appealing. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
