LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players and is frequently in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular player. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star with most points in playoffs, the second-highest point total, and seventh-highest assists total in his career. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third most number in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011-2018. James was selected for his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School within his hometown in Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a future NBA superstar. He was a pre-profession player and chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he quickly became a top player in the NBA winning the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and then left Cleveland with the status of"a "free agent" in the year 2010. This decision was made in the TV special The Decision.
