LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). The player is referred to as King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships four NBA MVP award four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh in assists. James has been named as an NBA All Star 18 times. He has been selected an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. As a total, James has been a part of the 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. This includes eight straight between 2011 and 2018. James has been chosen for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media for his potential as an NBA star. As a prep-to-pro player, he was selected for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in 2003's NBA draft. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the best league players by winning his NBA MVP Award in both 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after failing to achieve an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The news was broadcast on The Decision.
